Kingdom Compiled is a trade name protected under the Dutch Handelsnaamwet (Trade Name Act). It is not a registered legal entity at this stage. The project is currently operated as a non-commercial hobby collaboration by its founders.
If the project transitions to commercial activity, for example upon the release of a game for sale, all operations will be incorporated into a formal Dutch legal entity prior to that point, such as a Besloten Vennootschap (BV).
All content published under the Kingdom Compiled name, including but not limited to code, artwork, music, designs, documentation, and videos, is protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws. All rights are reserved unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Kingdom Compiled is a protected trade name under Dutch law. We are in the process of, or intend to file for, trademark registration of the Kingdom Compiled name and our game title(s) with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). Unauthorized commercial use of these names or associated branding is not permitted.
